started and stopped) I loved this: well-written and moving. The beginning on vegans was hilarious. Great metaphor on the tornado.
Like you, I've thought of (and feared) death for years, decades. Like you, I felt guilty about moving my beloved dog Ulysses to Florida. He died 7 years later but, you know, logic wasn't involved.
Thank you for sharing. I’m crying all over the place thinking of my dog (soulmate) Austin who passed in 2017. I love how you bare your soul to the world and connect through your stories. And yes, I loved Ugly Betty!!
I know that words aren't adequate, but I'm so sorry for your loss. There's something about the owner-pet relationship that's so special and often so misunderstood.
This is beautiful -- thank you for sharing a bit of Dylan with us! <3 I have a dog, Guillermo, who has occasional epileptic seizures. I just stay with him and hold him until he recovers. The love in his eyes afterwards is indescribable... the gratitude that I’m there for him when everything is uncontrollable and scary. All we can do in this world is hold one another, no matter what, and to the end. 🙏🏼
Amy, I feel like I know you a little bit better. And I agree with Paul, what a delightful read. Pat
Thank you, Pat. That's pretty amazing considering that you just finished my memoir.

Dylan is a gorgeous cat!
Thank you so much, Ellen! Having a pet is like having a piece of your heart running around on four legs. It gets hard sometimes.
Beautifully said. So true!!

Great storytelling, Amy.
Oh, that's so nice of you to say. Thank you.

I'm so grateful to know that Guillermo has you. You're so right, all we can do is hold each other.
